What did your Adventure In Missions mean to you?

"The trip to Honduras changed my life. God led the whole process from the initial conversation with the team lead, to raising more money than I asked for, meeting wonderful team members and locals, and staying on a few extra days on my own to explore more. I've been on a few short-term international missions trips, and this one has by far left the strongest imprint on my heart. I can't wait to go back and bring others with me."

~Stephanie, teacher, California

Are you ready to be engaged in the Great Commission in a significant way?

Are you interested in using your expertise in the field of medicine to help those in need around the world?

Then, the medical ministry of Adventure In Missions may be just for you. Our desire is to provide you the opportunity to serve whether it is for one week, one year, or a lifetime.

Adventure In Missions medical ministry exists to offer physical and spiritual help and hope to the poorest of the poor in Honduras through compassionate health care. AIM seeks to connect with a network of medical professional volunteers, (physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, emergency medical technicians and aids) and lay volunteers to serve in the following areas:

· To help provide medical care and clinics in areas where health care is not readily available.

· To provide assistance in establishing long-term, community health care programs that train and equip nationals in preventative disease through education in water purification, sanitation and hygiene principles.

· To help fund the provision and establishment of medical clinics, mobile medical units, and other medical projects.

Teaming our volunteers with local doctors and nurses that know most about the region and culture, we accommodate free clinics to communities with little access or funds to obtain care.  We offer these clinics on-the-go to reach the most remote areas, where some have never seen a doctor or dentist or received an immunization. We even make house visits and where possible offer support to villagers that require better diagnosis, hospitalization or surgery outside of their village. We return to the same areas year after year to encourage preventative health and spiritual and physical encouragement.

Adventure In Missions Medical Ministries seeks to mobilize medical professionals who have a passion for God and for people and who desire to help reach the nations with the Gospel.

Physical help can lead to eternal results! AIM Medical trips provide medical care for the poor, give participants opportunities for evangelism and connect local churches with people who need Christ. These trips change lives – for the patients, the local churches and the participants. Step into remote and needy places and let God change you as you bring hope to others!
